Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're taking a look at this SeaSucker vacuum cup mount for cameras, GoPros, and DSLRs. Now, with this sturdy four and a half inch vacuum cup mount, you're gonna be able to safely secure your camera or your GoPro for hands-free images and footage. Now, I would like to demonstrate to you how this works. And so what I'm going to do is walk over to a window here in my studio and I'd like for you to join me there so I can demonstrate how to use this. Now, just some overall information about this before we begin, this is made in the USA and it is constructed of hard plastic and it is lightweight, weighing in and about a pound and a half, but it is durable. The overall height of this mount from top to bottom, we're sitting right at seven inches and then the height of just the socket arm is going to be five inches tall.

And there is also an additional quarter 20 port on the side for accessories. And this literally installs and detaches in seconds. So let me go ahead and just show you how easy this is. First, you want to make sure that the surface that you're mounting to is clean. And again, this is a window, a glass window in my studio.

So I've already cleaned that. And then you wanna apply some moisture just to make sure it holds a good seal. And then you wana make sure that you test this on whatever surface that you're going to be mounting this on, to make sure that it is not going to deform that surface, especially if it has a soft covering. So now what we're gonna do is I am going to position it here where I want it, and you just need to press in firmly and then begin to push this vacuum button in until there is no more orange as you see, and that again, installed in no time at all. So you keep pushing this plunger, as you saw me do, until there is no orange and then once you see that there's no orange, then you have a good seal and that is going to hold.

And what's nice about this is, if you begin to see some orange on this plunger, then you'll just push in some more until it's gone. And then that will resecure this amount to the window or to whatever service you have this mounted onto. You wanna check that plunger frequently to make sure that it remains securely attached. Now I do have a camera that I would like to show you how this works. So I am going to go ahead and mount that on that quarter 20 stud And making sure that that'd be nice and tight and it is.

So then I am going to turn this knob here to adjust the support arm. And as you can see, it'll virtually go in any position. So let me just go ahead and hold it there. And we are nice and secure. All right. So as you can see, this is going to hold nice and firm and that camera is not gonna go anywhere once I have that support arm secure. And this has a pull rating of 120 pounds. And then when you are ready to release this, there are tabs here and then on this other side, and you just wanna make sure that you secure your load like I have here. And then all I'm gonna do is just pull on those and it comes off that easily and our plunger comes completely out and it goes back to orange. So again, very simple to install, very simple to detach, and this does have a limited lifetime warranty. And I think this is an excellent option. If you're looking to mount a GoPro or a camera on a surface and just have maximum flexibility in how you want to adjust your camera, I don't think you can go wrong with this mount.
